W. Edward Langdon, CPA
Background
Ed grew up in Southern Ohio, and attended
Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
He worked for Colley, Trumbower and Howell,
CPA's (now PriceWaterHouseCoopers) from 1973
through 1980, working in small business tax
and audit. He received his CPA certificate
in 1973.
In 1980 he was hired as Controller for a
national trucking firm headquartered in Orlando.
While there he was responsible for the conversion
of the company's manual general system to
computer, and coordinated the programming
of a custom billing/tracking software system
for Xerox Corporation, the company's largest
customer.
The company grew and was sold to Ryder Systems
in 1985. At that time Ed opened a public
accounting office in Winter Park, Florida.
In 1990 family responsibilites made it necessary
to relocate back to the Ohio / West Virginia
area. While there he worked as a manager
in the tax/small business department of a
large, local CPA firm.
In November, 1998 he returned to Central
Florida and has again opened an office practicing
public accounting.
